Multi-Vehicle Accident on Monte Vista Avenue in Santa Ana Sends 5 People to Hospital

 
SANTA ANA, CA (April 19, 2022) – Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Monte Vista Avenue in Santa Ana on Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 10:14 a.m. on April 17 at Raitt Street. According to the Orange County Fire Authority, several vehicles collided in the area in unclear circumstances.
 
Responding firefighters found a total of five trauma patients, and extricated one person from a vehicle. Paramedics rushed all five patients to area hospitals in unknown conditions.
 
Whether alcohol or drugs was a factor in the crash remains under investigation.
