Two-Vehicle Accident on Summit Valley Road in Hesperia Sends 3 People to Hospital

 
HESPERIA, CA (April 14, 2022) – Three people were airlifted after a two-vehicle accident on Summit Valley Road in Hesperia on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 4:10 p.m. on April 13 near Las Flores Road. According to the CHP, a silver Ford Mustang and a black pickup truck collided for unknown reasons.
 
San Bernardino County Fire responded and located both vehicles with major damage. They also found one person who required extrication.
 
Firefighters requested three airships to land at the Hesperia Airport for three patients with unspecified injuries. They also requested a total of four ground ambulances for other parties involved.
 
Crews closed the Summit Valley Road in both directions while they cleared the wreckage.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
