Passenger Dies after Car Crashes on Reservation Road in Salinas

 
SALINAS, CA (April 14, 2022) – A man died in a car accident on Reservation Road in Salinas, late Sunday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 5:00 p.m. on April 10 at the intersection with South Davis Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a car had lost control and struck a pole.
 
As a result, the male passenger in the car suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Authorities only described him as someone in his early 20s.
 
The driver, a man around 19 years old, suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital.
 
Drugs and alcohol are unknown factors at this time. Further investigation is underway.
