BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 20, 2022) – At least three people suffered injuries in multiple accidents on northbound Highway 99 on February 17.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Highway 166 around 2:55 AM.
 
Based on a report, four separate crashes occurred at the intersection. Officers said six vehicles, including three commercial vehicles, were part of the crashes. It was not clear if the crashes were related to each other.
 
As a result, one person sustained a major injury. In addition, two others had minor injuries.
 
Also, the crash closed the northbound lanes of the highway for hours.
 
CHP said weather and visibility do not appear to have been a factor in this crash. At this point, an investigation is still ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
