Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Beach Boulevard near Heil Avenue

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (February 11, 2022) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Beach Boulevard on Tuesday, February 8.
 
Authorities said the incident took place on Beach Boulevard north of Heil Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. When authorities arrived at the area, they found a woman that had been hit by a silver 2004 Toyota Corolla.
 
The female, who authorities believe was outside of a crosswalk when the incident happened, died at the scene.
 
The driver of the Toyota, a 76-year-old female, did not sustain injuries. She remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
 
Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
