Stephanie Mendoza Dies in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 9, 2022) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident at Avalon Boulevard and 105th Street on Sunday night.
 
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified the victim as 30-year-old Stephanie Mendoza as the victim of the collision.
 
According to a Los Angeles police report, the fatal pedestrian crash happened at approximately 11:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, an undescribed vehicle struck Mendoza in the Green Meadows area.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and pronounced Mendoza dead at the scene.
 
Following the accident, the officers impounded the vehicle and interviewed the driver.
 
Police believe speed might have contributed to the cause of the accident. However, police noted no crime was committed because all of the involved people remained at the scene. Anyone with information should call the LAPD.
