T-Bone Crash Reported on West Tefft Street at South Frontage Road in Nipomo

 
NIPOMO, CA (January 27, 2022) – Officers responded to a T-bone crash on West Tefft Street on January 25.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at South Frontage Road at approximately 2:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, a black GMC sport utility vehicle ran a red light at the intersection. Subsequently, it collided with a silver Chevrolet sedan.
 
As a result, crews implemented traffic restrictions near the intersection for about an hour.
 
San Luis Ambulance paramedics and Cal Fire units responded to the scene. However, officials have not yet confirmed the number or extent of the injuries in the collision.
 
At this point, the CHP is investigating the cause of the collision. Also, no further details are currently available.
