PETALUMA, CA (January 25, 2022) — A driver suffered multiple injuries in a hit-and-run big rig accident on Lakeville Highway at Pine View Way on Thursday.
 
According to the Petaluma Police, the hit-and-run happened around 1:30 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in red Nissan Xterra SUV crashed into a diesel tank big rig.
 
Subsequently, the SUV driver, described as a man with long hair, walked away from the scene before officers responded.
