Dustin Blakesley Involved in DUI Accident on East Gobbi Street near Main Street in Ukiah

 
UKIAH, CA (January 2, 2022) – Police arrested Dustin Blakesley following a DUI accident on East Gobbi Street on December 18.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened shortly before midnight near Main Street.
 
Based on a report, a Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office deputy attempted to pull over a vehicle for a traffic violation. A pursuit began when the driver failed to stop. The pursuit continued on Gobbi, where Blakesley swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with a vehicle. The second vehicle was leaving the Safeway parking lot near Main Street.
 
According to the CHP, the driver of the other vehicle and their passenger suffered minor to moderate injuries. Paramedics transported the victims to Adventist Health Ukiah Valley for treatment.
 
Blakesley, 31, of Ukiah, fled on foot before CHP officers arrived at the scene. At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
