Hillary Lopez Dead, Lynn Nguyen Arrested after Two-Car Crash on Senter Road

 
SAN JOSE, CA (December 21, 2021) — A woman identified as 35-year-old Hillary Lopez of Fremont died in a car crash on Thursday, December 16.
 
According to the police, the accident occurred at about 3:24 p.m. in the area of Senter Road and Wool Creek Drive.
 
A woman in a 2005 BMW 530i traveled northbound on Senter Road. Then it collided into a 2016 Toyota Prius driven by Lopez.
 
The BMW driver was previously involved in a hit-and-run that resulted in a minor injury. Police believe she fled from the scene of the first crash when the second one occurred.
 
Paramedics rendered aid to Lopez. They rushed her to a local hospital where she later died.
 
The driver of BMW, 71-year-old Lynn Nguyen, suffered injuries. Officials booked her into Santa Clara County Main Jail on vehicular manslaughter and two counts of felony hit-and-run.
 
Officials temporarily shut down the northbound Senter Road during the police investigation.
