Man Suffers Broken Leg after Two-Car Accident on Estrella Avenue in Teralta East Area

 
TERALTA EAST, CA (December 21, 2021) – A 45-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a two-car accident on Estrella Avenue in Teralta East area of San Diego on Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 12:29 p.m. on December 18 at Orange Avenue. According to the San Diego Police Department, the man was driving a black Toyota Prius southbound on Estrella Avenue. At the same time, a black Toyota Highlander was heading eastbound on Orange Avenue.
 
The Prius went through a stop sign and collided with the Highlander.
 
As a result, the man driving the Prius suffered a fractured right thigh bone. Paramedics transported him to a hospital for treatment.
 
The Highlander driver, a 45-year-old woman, was not injured.
 
At this time, the accident is still under investigation.
