CHICO, CA (December 15, 2021) – Police responded to the scene after an Amazon van got involved in a rollover crash on Springfield Drive at Forest Avenue on December 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Forest Avenue around 4:27 PM.
 
Based on a report, the Amazon van was traveling southbound on Forest at the time of the crash. At the same time, a small Toyota SUV ran a red light on Springfield and crashed with the van. Subsequently, the van landed is on its side.
 
As a result, the driver of the van, a 35-year-old woman, complained of pain. Paramedics transported the victim to Enloe Medical Center for treatment. The 81-year-old Toyota driver was not hurt in the crash.
