Multiple Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash on Highway 60 in South El Monte

 
SOUTH EL MONTE, CA (December 8, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 60 on December 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the Peck Road off-ramp around 3:25 PM.
 
Based on a report, several vehicles collided in the lanes. Officials were able to identify a black Mercedes SUV and a big rig. However, the details that led to the pile-up were not available.
 
As a result, one person died at the scene. As of now, officials have not yet identified the victim.
 
At this point, the police are still investigating the cause of the collision. In addition, no other details are available.
