Fatal Accident Reported on Masten Avenue at 6th Avenue in Gilroy

 
GILROY, CA (December 8, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a car accident on Masten Avenue on December 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection with 6th Avenue around 6:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, a gray Toyota, a black sedan, and a third vehicle collided in the lanes. Officers arrived and found the vehicles blocking the road leading to Rucker Elementary School.
 
As a result, emergency crews proclaimed at least one person dead at the scene. As of now, officials have not yet released the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
At this point, the police are still investigating the cause of the collision. In addition, no other details are available.
