Woman Dead in Bakersfield Car Crash on Stockdale Highway

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 22, 2021) — A woman died in a two-car accident on Stockdale Highway at Renfro Road, Friday morning.
 
According to Bakersfield Police, the fatal crash happened around 12:10 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a red Honda Civic collided with an unknown vehicle. As a result, the male driver, as well as the male passenger, suffered severe injuries and were taken to a hospital.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported a third passenger, a woman, to an area hospital where she died from her wounds.
 
At this time, Bakersfield Police have not released information on the victim’s name or the precise circumstances of the crash. However, they believe speed may have contributed to the accident.
