STOCKTON, CA (October 26, 2021) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 99 in Stockton Monday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:42 a.m. on October 25, at the intersection with Arch Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was possibly in a disabled vehicle. While she was trying to exit her car, a gray Acura MDX struck her.
 
The impact sent the woman flying over the center divider. She died at the scene.
 
Authorities did not release the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the crash to determine the factors involved.
