Late Evening Two-Vehicle Accident on Avenue 12 in Madera Ends in Fatality

 
MADERA, CA (October 27, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Avenue 12 in Madera late Saturday evening.
 
The accident happened around 11:44 p.m. on October 23 at the intersection with Riverstone Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white pickup truck and an SUV collided for unknown reasons.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and provided life-saving measures. However, one patient died at the scene.
 
At this time, it is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatality.
