Carla Cain Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on 39th Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 11, 2021) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on 39th Street near Harvard Boulevard on Sunday, October 3.
 
Authorities identified the woman killed as 46-year-old Carla Cain, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department. Her city of residence was not known.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal crash happened around 2:45 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver struck Cain in the 1500 block of West 39th Street.
 
Shortly after, authorities responded and found the woman with serious injuries. However, Cain died at the scene.
 
At this time, authorities need the public’s help in finding the hit-and-run driver. Anyone with information on the car or suspect should contact the Los Angeles police.
