Driver Arrested after Fresno Hit-and-Run Accident on Highway 168 near Highway 180

 
FRESNO, CA (September 20, 2021) — Officials arrested a driver after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 168 on Wednesday, September 15.
 
California Highway Patrol said the incident involving a 21-year-old driver occurred on Highway 168 near Highway 180.
 
Officers said the 21-year-old crashed into the back of a firetruck and then left the area. They were later able to apprehend the driver at their home. They now face hit-and-run charges.
 
The circumstances and the cause of the incident are still not determined.
 
Police did not release any other information at this time. However, the crash remains under investigation.
