Fatal Motorcycle Accident Occurs on El Norte Parkway in Escondido

 
ESCONDIDO, CA (September 14, 2021) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on El Norte Parkway on September 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just east of 15 Freeway, near Ivy Street.
 
Based on reports, the motorcyclist collided with a vehicle in the lanes. At this point, the details that led to the crash were not immediately available.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the rider dead at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
Also, officers closed a portion of El Norte Parkway from Broadway Street while crews were on the scene.
 
As of now, the Escondido Police Department is still investigating the incident. In addition, officers are asking anyone with information to reach them.
