Man Fatally Struck by Train near Ranchero Road in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (September 9, 2021) – A man died after struck by a train near Ranchero Road and Santa Fe Avenue East in Hesperia Wednesday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:53 a.m. on September 8, near the railroad tracks. According to a sheriff’s preliminary investigation, the man was trespassing on BNSF railroad property when a passing train struck him. He suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Coroner’s officials will release the victim’s identity once next of kin is notified.
 
Deputies coordinated with BNSF Police and the investigation is ongoing.
