Clinton Silverman Dies, Wife Injured in Huntington Beach Tandem Bike Accident

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (August 10, 2021) – 74-year-old Clinton Silverman of Huntington Beach was killed in a bicycle accident near Magnolia Street and Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, August 8.
 
According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the crash happened about 8:50 a.m. Sunday near Magnolia Street and Hamilton Avenue. A 2005 Ford Explorer struck Silverman and his 82-year-old wife on a tandem bicycle.
 
Both the man now identified as Silverman and his wife were taken by paramedics to a hospital, where Silverman died. His wife was seriously injured.
 
The driver of the Explorer stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
