Warnervee Walton Arrested, Stephany Cartagena-Bronfield and Mario Rivera Die in Los Angeles DUI Accident

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (August 3, 2021) – Two people died while police arrested Warnervee Walton after a DUI accident on Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles early Sunday, August 1.
 
The accident happened around 4:40 a.m. along the southbound freeway at Slauson Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Walton was driving a 2017 Buick Regal when he broadsided a 2014 Hyundai Elantra.
 
The driver of the Hyundai, Mario Mazariegos Rivera, and his passenger, Stephany Cartagena-Bronfield, were pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The Buick’s driver – Walton – was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. In addition, he was the lone occupant inside the Buick. The people involved in the crash were all residents of Los Angeles.
