Fortino Reyes-Domingo Involved in Fatal Broadside Accident on Dodds Road in San Joaquin County

 
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (July 29, 2021) – Police arrested Fortino Reyes-Domingo following a fatal accident on Dodds Road on July 25.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Mariposa Road around 9:00 PM.
 
Based on reports, Reyes-Domingo was driving a 2015 Chevy south on Dodds prior to the crash. At the same time, a 1999 Chevy, being driven by a 56-year-old Dos Palos man, was east on Mariposa. Then, Reyes-Domingo drove into the intersection, directly into the path of the Chevy. Subsequently, the vehicles collided broadside.
 
As a result, the 1999 Chevy driver died at the scene. His 50-year-old female passenger sustained major injuries. In addition, a 52-year-old Manteca woman and a 10-year-old girl in the 2015 Chevy sustained moderate injuries.
 
In the end, Reyes-Domingo, 45, of Manteca, is facing criminal charges for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail.
