Man Dies in Bicycle Crash on Genesee Avenue

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 27, 2021) — A man died in a bicycle accident at Genesee Avenue and Chickasaw Court Friday evening.
 
According to the San Diego police, the fatal accident happened around 5:31 p.m. For unknown reasons, an adult man entered the No. 1 Lane northbound lane after making a quick movement. Subsequently, a woman who had the right of way struck him.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and transported the male victim to a hospital where he died. Back at the scene, authorities interviewed the 24-year-old Oceanside woman who cooperated with the police.
 
However, at this time, authorities need witnesses’ help in identifying the circumstances and cause of the crash. Those with information should contact the San Diego police officers.
