Hit-and-Run Crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach Leaves 1 Dead

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (July 26, 2021) – One died and another sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach Sunday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 8:00 p.m. on July 25, between Beach Boulevard and Newland Street. Huntington police did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but they confirmed one fatality as a result of the incident. They also indicated a second patient suffering from serious injuries.
 
An involved driver did not stop after the crash and remains at large.
 
Crews temporarily closed the northbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway while they worked on the scene.
 
The Huntington Beach Police Department is still investigating the fatality and searching for the suspect.
