RANCHO MIRAGE, CA (July 16, 2021) — First responders took one person to the hospital following a collision on Mirage Cove Drive off of Highway 111.
 
The incident took place Wednesday afternoon at about 12:15 p.m. Based on reports from Cal Fire, one of the two vehicles involved overturned. First responders found the said vehicle on its roof when they arrived at the scene.
 
Medical responders took one person to the hospital. The said person suffered minor to moderate injuries, officials said. Updates on the condition of the patient are not available as of this time.
 
It was not immediately clear what caused the collision. However, the authorities continue with their investigation.
