Sacramento Accident on Franklin Boulevard Kills Woman and Injures Toddler

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 29, 2021) – A woman died and a child sustained injuries in a car accident on Franklin Boulevard Monday.
 
The accident happened just after 5:00 p.m. on June 28, at 20th Avenue. The Sacramento police said the woman was driving a vehicle when she collided with another car.
 
As a result, the woman died at the scene. The toddler who was in her vehicle sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
 
The driver of the other vehicle did not sustained serious injuries, police said.
 
Traffic through the area was affected for several hours after the crash.
 
No other information was available at this time. The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the accident.
