Two-Vehicle Accident on Sierra Highway in Mojave Kills At Least One and Injuries Several Others

 
MOJAVE, CA (June 28, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Sierra Highway in Mojave early Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 12:36 a.m. on June 27, just near Highway 58. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles sustained major rear-end damage from the impact.
 
Paramedics found one patient with major head injuries. Several other patients sustained moderate injuries. All patients were taken to Antelope Valley Hospital, where at least one died.
 
No additional information was provided, including the identity of the deceased victim.
