Roadway Blocked after Logging Truck Accident on Highway 101 near Peg House

 
LEGGETT, CA (June 25, 2021) – Authorities reported minor injuries following a logging truck accident on Highway 101, Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on June 22, at about 2:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a logging truck and a travel trailer collided near the Peg House at mile marker 95.1.
 
As per reports, minor injuries were sustained. However, responders did not specify the number of people injured.
 
Responders shut down the roadway for more than 30 minutes to clear the damaged travel trailer.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
