Donald Hundevadt Suffers Major Injuries when Vehicle Hits His Motorcycle on Highway 49 at Sweetland Road

 
NORTH SAN JUAN, CA (June 23, 2021) – Donald Hundevadt sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident in North San Juan Sunday afternoon.
 
The accident happened on June 20, at the intersection with Sweetland Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 63-year-old Grass Valley man was driving his motorcycle north on the highway. At the same time, 76-year-old Michael Pate of North San Juan was in his vehicle at the intersection with Sweetland Road.
 
For unknown reasons, Pate pulled in front the motorcycle and the two vehicles collided.
 
As a result, Hundevadt was ejected off his bike and he suffered major injuries. Responding paramedics transported him to a hospital for treatment.
 
CHP believed that Pate failed to yield to the right of way of the motorcycle.
 
At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
