Cathedral City 3-Vehicle Crash Kills Man and Injures Another

 
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (June 6, 2021)Marc Stevens was killed in a three-vehicle accident in Cathedral City Saturday afternoon, June 5.
 
The accident happened just after 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Dinah Shore Drive and Cathedral Canyon Drive. According to the Cathedral City Police Department, the 59-year-old victim from Palm Springs was driving his car when he collided with two other vehicles.
 
As a result, Stevens suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, the Riverside County coroner’s office said.
 
Police said another driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
Eastbound Dinah Shore Drive was closed for the next two hours for the investigation.
 
It was unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in this fatal crash.
