One Hurt in San Diego Two-Car Crash on 15 Freeway

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 10, 2021) — At least one person was injured in a two-car accident on the 15 Freeway near Friars Road Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 5:30 a.m. Under circumstances that require more investigation, a driver struck a disabled car in the middle northbound lanes of the freeway. As a result of the accident, the disabled vehicle burst into flames.
 
Instinctively, witness Sean Dolan jumped in and pulled the window frame off the burning car to get the driver out. Subsequently, another man joined him and pulled the victim out of the vehicle.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived and transported the driver of the disabled vehicle to a hospital for treatment. At this time, the events that took place prior to the accident remain unclear. Although, anyone with information should contact the CHP.
