BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 21, 2021) – One person was killed in a train accident on 32nd Street near Chester Avenue in Bakersfield Monday morning, April 19.
 
According to Bakersfield police, the crash happened around 7:15 a.m. Officers responded to the site and found the person who was struck by the train with severe injuries. They pronounced the person dead at the scene.
 
The name, age and gender of the victim were not immediately available.
