RIO LINDA, CA (April 21, 2021) – 15-year-old Karla Naranjo suffered injuries in a bicycle accident on Elkhorn Boulevard on April 13.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Rio Linda Boulevard just after 6:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, Karla Naranjo was riding her bike on Elkhorn at the time of the crash. She stopped in the bike lane to make sure it was safe to cross. Then she saw a truck leaving the 7-Eleven parking lot stopped, making her think it was safe to cross.
