Myshawn Logan, Quindien Holmes Among 3 Killed in South LA Street Racing Accident

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (April 13, 2021) – Quindien Holmes and Myshawn Logan were among three people who died in a possible street racing crash late Sunday evening, April 11.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after midnight at Central Avenue and Florence Avenue.
 
CHP officials said the driver of a 2007 Toyota was speeding when he lost control and crashed into a jeep. The impact pushed the Jeep forward and struck a Honda. The Toyota continued out of control until it crashed into a building and then a pole resulting in one of the passengers being ejected from the car.
 
As a result, the ejected person and two of the passengers in the Toyota died at the scene.
 
Holmes is 23 years old and Logan is 14 years old, both of Los Angeles. The third victim was only described as a man in his 20s.
 
Paramedics took two other people to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
 
Officials did not rule out alcohol or drugs as factors, but investigators are looking into whether street racing may have been the cause of the crash.
