Philip Lujan Arrested in Fresno Police Pursuit Accident on Cedar Avenue at Belmont Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (April 12, 2021) — Philip Lujan faces charges in a police chase accident on Cedar Avenue at Belmont Avenue Friday morning.
 
According to Fresno Police, the incident took place at 12:45 a.m. At Cedar Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue, officers tried to arrest 42-year-old Lujan for domestic violence. However, Lujan failed to comply and drove off in his red Toyota Camry.
 
Subsequently, he led police on a chase until his Toyota collided with a Honda Civic.
 
Paramedics responded soon after and transported three victims to Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno for treatment.
 
At this time, officers plan to arrest Lujan and book him into the Fresno County jail once medical staff clears him.
