Man Killed in El Sobrante Pedestrian Crash on San Pablo Dam Road

 
EL SOBRANTE, CA (April 2, 2021) — A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on San Pablo Dam Road near Creekside Court Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Under unclear conditions, a driver in a blue Honda struck an elderly pedestrian.
 
At the time of the accident, the man was purportedly outside of a crosswalk. As a result of the impact, the victim suffered grave injuries and died shortly after.
 
As of now, police do not believe DUI, speed or distracted driving played a factor on the driver’s part. However, if anyone has additional insight into this accident on San Pablo Dam Road, please contact the CHP.
