Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Cliffcrest Drive in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 24, 2021) – One person was killed late Friday evening after a motorcycle accident on Cliffrest Drive near Olander Way.
 
The accident happened around 11:45 p.m. March 19, near the Valley Hi/North Laguna neighborhood. CHP officials said a 2012 Yamaha R6 motorcycle was traveling on Cliffrest Drive when it crashed into the back of a parked Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
 
First responders attempted saving the rider, but the victim died at the scene.
 
The name, age, gender and hometown of the deceased were not immediately available.
 
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
