Vincent Reyes Killed in Fiery Accident on Sierra Highway [Newhall, CA]

Authorities Identify Vincent Reyes as Man Killed in Fiery February Crash in Newhall

 
NEWHALL, CA (March 24, 2021) – 24-year-old Vincent Reyes of Sylmar was identified as the man who died in a fiery crash in Newhall last month.
 
Just before 8:00 p.m. on February 24, the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene on Sierra Highway at Clampitt Road.
 
When officers arrived, the found Reyes trapped inside the burning car. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Preliminary investigations revealed that Reyes was driving his vehicle when he veered off the roadway and crashed into the ditch. His car then burst into flames.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol contributed to this fatal crash. Further investigation is underway.
