Man Dies in Irwindale Pedestrian Accident on Irwindale Avenue

 
IRWINDALE, CA (February 11, 2021) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Irwindale Avenue near the 210 Freeway Tuesday.
 
According to Irwindale police, someone had contacted officers at 5:28 a.m. to report a man in the road.
 
Upon responding, officers found the man in the northbound lanes, just south of the 210 Freeway on-ramp. Officers also discovered vehicle debris, indicating that a vehicle had struck the man.
 
As officers investigated the scene, paramedics transported the victim to a hospital for further treatment. Unfortunately, he died at a trauma center shortly after. At this time, his identity has not been confirmed.
 
According to the evidence, police believe a light gray Ford F-150 Raptor struck the victim. They say the suspect was most likely heading north on Irwindale Avenue prior to the impact. However, authorities need help in locating the suspect’s whereabouts.
