One Killed, Two Hurt after Multi-Vehicle Crash on Harvill Avenue and Rider Street
PERRIS, CA (February 8, 2021) — One person died and two were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Harvill Avenue on Friday, January 22.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place at the intersection of Harvill Avenue and Rider Street at around 3:00 p.m.
CHP said that for undetermined reasons, a Chevrolet 2500 pickup and two sedans collided.
Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived at the area within a few minutes. They found one victim in critical condition, and the two others had moderate to major injuries.
Medics administered life-saving measures on the first victim but he died at the scene. His identity was not immediately available.
Paramedics rushed the other two parties to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment.
Officials completely closed Northbound Harvill as a result of the collision.
There were no reports if speed or impairment played a role in the crash.
The investigation is still ongoing.
