Motorcyclist Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Bristol Street in Santa Ana

 
SANTA ANA, CA (April 10, 2024) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Bristol Street in Santa Ana late Tuesday evening on April 9.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:00 p.m. at Central Avenue. According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Bristol Street approaching Central Avenue. At the same time, a vehicle was traveling south and attempted to make an eastbound turn onto Central Avenue.
 
The vehicle then collided with the motorcycle.
 
Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His identity was not immediately available.
 
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
 
At this time, alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
