Officer Responding to Call Crashes on Highway 65 in Yuba County

 
YUBA COUNTY, CA (March 25, 2024) — A deputy responding to a call suffered an injury in a car accident on Highway 65 near Evergreen Drive.
 
According to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office, the two-car crash happened around 6:00 p.m. Saturday. As a Yuba County Sheriff’s Office deputy was responding to a report of two unresponsive subjects who reportedly overdosed at Camp Far West Reservoir, a crash occurred. As a result, the deputy and the other driver suffered moderate injuries and received hospital care after. Soon after, paramedics arrived and took the pair to a hospital.
