1 Dies in 2-Vehicle Crash on Walerga Road in Roseville

 
ROSEVILLE, CA (April 19, 2024) — One person died in a 2-car accident on Walerga Road at Doyle Ranch Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol Auburn division, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 6:45 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a Mercedes-Benz driver struck a Mazda3 driver heading northbound on Walerga Road. As a result, the Mazda driver suffered injuries, but the Mazda passenger passed away in the crash.
 
Shortly thereafter, paramedics responded to the incident and took the Mercedes-Benz driver to a hospital for a complaint of pain.
 
At this time, the Placer County Coroner’s Office has not released the fatal victim’s identity. However, we will update this report once we receive further details.
