60-Year-Old Woman Suffers Major Injuries after Hit by Vehicle on Romie Lane in Salinas
SALINAS, CA (October 6, 2021) – A woman suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident at Romie Lane and South Main Street in Salinas on September 30.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 60-year-old woman was crossing the intersection when a pickup truck making a left turn hit her.
First responders transported the woman to a hospital with major injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with police.
It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The accident is still under investigation.
