Two-Vehicle Accident on Hanford Armona Road in Lemoore Leaves One Person Dead

 
LEMOORE, CA (December 30, 2024) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident at Hanford Armona Road and 16th Avenue in Lemoore on Tuesday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:20 p.m. on December 24. According to the Kings County Sheriff’s Office, the woman was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima and was backing out of a private driveway on the south side of Hanford Armona Road, partially into the east and westbound lanes of the road.
 
At the same time, a man was driving a 2017 GMC Acadia eastbound on Hanford Armona Road, just east of 16th Avenue.
 
The two vehicles then collided, causing severe injuries on the woman.
 
First responders rushed the woman a local hospital, where she later died.
 
Meanwhile, the man driving the GMC and his three passengers suffered unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
The use of alcohol and or drugs does not appear to be a factor in the crash. An investigation is underway.
