Reckless Driver Dies after Causing Three-Car Crash on Highway 198 in Tulare County

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (November 7, 2022) – A woman was killed in a three-car accident on Highway 198 in Tulare County late Friday evening, November 4.
 
The accident happened just before 11:00 p.m. near Road 182. According to the California Highway Patrol, a reckless driver rear-ended a Subaru Forester before veering across the center median and colliding with a Ford Fusion.
 
As a result of the crash, the reckless driver suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt.
 
The driver of the Ford Fusion suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Kaweah Health Medical Center.
 
The driver of the Subaru was unharmed.
 
It is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
