Woman Dies in Fresno Solo-Car Crash on Highway 41
FRESNO, CA (December 16, 2021) — A woman died in a solo-car accident on Highway 41 near O Street on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car crash happened near downtown Fresno. For unknown reasons, the 28-year-old woman’s vehicle veered off the highway and drove down an embankment. At some point during the accident, she was ejected from the vehicle.
As a result of the crash, the woman, who authorities believe was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. Officials have not confirmed her identity.
