SAN JOSE, CA (September 23, 2024) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident near Stevens Creek Boulevard and Hanson Avenue.
 
The fatal pedestrian accident happened in San Jose Thursday night. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a female pedestrian. Subsequently, firefighter-paramedics arrived and took her to a hospital where she died from her injuries. Officials have not identified her.
 
After the accident, the driver stayed and cooperated with police investigators. However, officials have not confirmed the ultimate cause.
